life moves on...and I LOVE IT!

Hello friends,

I just thought I should log in and write a lil note thingy, since it's almost been a year since I left Bryan. Am I still happy after being out for this long? YES! It rocks guys. I am moving to Asheville in a few months with my girlfriend and band. Yes, for all wondering, I am evil!!! mwahaha!

I have been listening to Yellocard's new CD and Jamie Cullum (Catching Tales) lately. Both good CD's. Steve joined the National Guard for 8 years. lol, yeah, he spent like a week thinking about it, and now he is in till he's like 30! Oh well. Welcome to America!

We have a new CD that will be coming out soon. It's gonna be a cool mix of punk and rock, and we're excited to finally get it done.

I haven't smoked weed in a while (like 6 months), but hey, you Bryan peoples should try it some time. It's not addictive, and not really that bad for you. It just gives you a tingly feeling all over and makes you feel like you're sinking. Yea, it gets old, but at least try it once to get it in your system. Best smoked while watching the Live 8 concert on DVD. Serious, you should try it.

Um...I am 20 now! YESSS! It's cool, cause I feel old. Like...non-teenager any more. I like the feeling.

Ok, well, my lunch break is almost over, so I'd better get me and bossman some food (and maybe some vodka for tonight...).

Write me or something if any of you get the chance. I'd love to hear from ya!

I love community college! It rocks! I just did this one class for like 15 minutes and left. Straight attendance so far. YESSS! Yea, to all my Bryan homies out there, the grass really is greener on the other side. Once you get to the other side, it pretty much rocks.

Ok, ok, I miss my friends at Bryan, so I am coming to visit soon! But heck, I really like it here in Hendersonville. It's like finally I am on my own and free. I am a real person! Working 40 hours a week is awesome if you like your job. Money is always fun, and having your own house is nice too.

So, I just thought I should comment on that and let you all know that college may be the norm, and you may be pressured into it full time, but don't forget to relax and decide why you are doing what you're doing. Honest, ok, I know people told you it was impossible to live without college, but I am actually surviving without a college degree...and making lot's of money....and going to college at my own pace...and having a lot of fun in the mean time! Just something to think about.

Ok, well, I'd better goof off some more, so l8er & lots of love to all my homies!

Marching Bands Of Manhattan | Death Cab for Cutie | NOW PLAYING

If I could open my arms
And span the length of the isle of Manhattan,
I'd bring it to where you are
Making a lake of the East River and Hudson
And if I could open my mouth
Wide enough for a marching band to march out of
They would make your name sing
And bend through alleys and bounce off other buildings.

I wish we could open our eyes
To see in all directions at the same time
Oh what a beautiful view
If you were never aware of what was around you
And it is true what you said
That I live like a hermit in my own head
But when the sun shines again
I'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in.

Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole
Just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound
But while you debate half empty or half full
It slowly rises, your love is gonna drown [4x]

Your love is gonna drown [4x]
Your love is gonna...

Some things are so ingrained in us from birth, they remain with us as a second nature. I have listed some of these standards below. Think they are interesting to analyze:

be good
always buckle up
wear a helmet
say no to drugs
look both ways before crossing the street
don't talk to strangers
keep your arms and hands inside the vehicle before it comes to a complete stop
stay on the right side of the road
be kind; rewind
always flush the toilet
don't eat the yellow snow
never spit into the wind
if at first you don't suceed, try again
be cool, stay in school
don't play with matches
keep our environment clean
don't deplete the ozone layer
don't drink and drive
watch where you're going
wash your hands before you eat
you are what you eat

You might not find the answers to all life's questions in the above list, but if you begin to ask why, then it's definitely a place to start.

The Beast and the Harlot | Avenged Sevenfold

This shining city built of gold, a far cry from innocence,
There's more than meets the eye round here, look to the waters of the deep.
A city of evil.
There sat a seven-headed beast, ten horns raised from his head.
Symbolic woman sits on his throne, but hatred strips her and leaves her naked.
The Beast and the Harlot.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,
every filthy bird and makes us drink the poisoned wine to fornicating with our kings.
Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

The city dressed in jewels and gold, fine linen, myrrh and pearls.
Her plagues will come all at once as her mourners watch her burn.
Destroyed in an hour.
Merchants and captains of the world, sailors, navigators too.
Will weep and morn this loss with her sins piled to the sky,
The Beast and the Harlot.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,
every filthy bird and makes us drink the poisoned wine to fornicating with our kings.
Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

The day has come for all us sinners.
If you're not a servant, you'll be struck to the ground.
Flee the burning, greedy city.
Lookin' back on her to see there's nothing around.

I don't believe in fairytales and no one wants to go to hell.
We've made the wrong decision and it's easy to see.
Now if you wanna serve above or be a king below with us,
You're welcome to the city where your future is set forever.

She's a dwelling place for demons.
She's a cage for every unclean spirit,
every filthy bird and makes us drink the poisoned wine to fornicating with our kings.
Fallen now is Babylon the Great.

" A Pisces cannot live without lies and treachery. They often get so wrapped up in their own tall tales that they can easily forget which of their stories are true and which are not. " (Read more | Find yours)
